Black and Grey Pillar Candles

Black Pillar Candles
Black pillar candles are generally used for formal occasions. Used with a gold candleholder they are just sheer elegance. Black makes other colors appear brighter so whatever color theme you have in your home black will make it stand out. A rich red wall in a dining area is contrasted spectacularly with a black pillar candle.

The most stunning wedding party I ever saw, the women were dressed in fire orange and the men were dressed in black with orange cumberbunds and lapel flowers. The reception tables were graced with black pillar candles with a delicate orange ribbon tied around them. The combination is not something you might think of for a wedding but the effect was amazing and memorable!

Black pillar candles of course are also used in gothic and medieval themes.

Whilst not widely used, black pillar candles have an awesome impact.

Grey Pillar Candles
Grey Pillar candles are really at home oin the modern minimalist theme decor. Whilst lots of grey can be associated with morning and sadness, a touch of grey gives a touch of class.
